Satispay is a fintech platform reimagining financial services to empower users with control over their financial lives. Starting with payments, the company has expanded into benefits, investing, and cards, with ambitions to become the most loved financial platform globally.
As Head of Crypto, you will lead Satispay's expansion into cryptocurrency and Web3 as a core strategic pillar. You will operate with significant autonomy while maintaining direct alignment with the founding team on execution, team scaling, and long-term vision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling a dedicated cross-functional team from the ground up to execute the crypto vertical
- Taking ownership of the existing crypto roadmap, driving execution for immediate impact while continuously evaluating market opportunities for adaptation and expansion
- Partnering directly with founders and C-level executives to ensure crypto rollout aligns with the company's mission
- Overseeing end-to-end product development lifecycle, from infrastructure setup and go-to-market strategy through launch and optimization
- Navigating regulatory requirements in lockstep with Compliance and Legal teams, ensuring alignment with evolving European regulations (MiCA) and safeguarding standards
- Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with key crypto ecosystem players including exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain networks
- Leading and mentoring high-performing teams with structured communication, transparency, and demonstrated commitment to integrity and ownership
The role demands an execution-focused, product-minded leader with deep passion for digital assets and alignment with company culture.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in crypto/Web3 initiatives at a regulated Fintech, exchange, or crypto-native company
- Proven experience hiring, managing, and scaling specialized, high-performing teams in fast-paced tech or financial environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate high-level strategy into shipped products and scale operations from the ground up
- Deep, technical understanding of blockchain architecture, crypto market dynamics, digital wallets, custody solutions, and Web3 infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of European crypto regulatory landscape (MiCA, AML/KYC for digital assets) and history of launching products within strict compliance frameworks
- Ability to balance bold expansion with stringent risk management
- Excellent communication and influence skills to align internal and external stakeholders, translating complex crypto concepts into clear business updates
- Complete fluency in English; Italian language knowledge is a plus
