Dandelion Health is an AI-driven clinical data platform founded in 2020 by experts in health tech, hospital systems, academia, and clinical AI. The company partners with major U.S. health systems (Sharp HealthCare, Sanford Health, Texas Health Resources, and two additional systems joining soon) to safely and ethically make de-identified patient data available to AI developers, pharma, and medical device companies. The platform hosts clinical data from over 10 million patients dating back to July 2016, including structured EMR data, unstructured clinical notes, radiology reports, images (DICOM, pathology), video, waveforms, and continuous monitoring data. The Director, Network Strategy & Operations role owns Dandelion's relationships with its Consortium health system partners and ensures operational integrity of the data pipeline underpinning all commercial engagements. This hybrid strategic and hands-on position sits at the intersection of partnership management and data compliance/delivery operations. The role balances executive-level relationship management with operational quality control, ensuring each health system partner is a reliable, well-supported, and compliant data source. Key responsibilities include: serving as primary relationship owner for five Consortium health system partners, managing the full partner lifecycle from onboarding through expansion, building and maintaining executive relationships with health system leadership (CMOs, informatics/IT, research, privacy, compliance), leading escalation communications when partner-side issues threaten client commitments, owning recurring partner-facing deliverables (monthly/quarterly Executive Committee updates), and tracking technical migrations affecting data delivery. The role also owns long-term Consortium network strategy, develops and refines the value proposition to health system partners, builds deep understanding of each partner's institutional needs and incentives, identifies new categories of partner value beyond data commercialization, and translates partner insights into company-wide strategy and OKR planning. Data compliance and delivery operations responsibilities include overseeing data compliance infrastructure across the partner network (de-identification methodology, HIPAA compliance), overseeing data quality assurance processes, ensuring technical/methodology documentation is clear, managing technical and privacy conversations balancing client needs against partner risk tolerance, and serving as the internal point of accountability for data delivery infrastructure health. The role also partners with commercial/BD teams to ensure health system data capabilities are well-represented in client-facing materials and provides subject-matter input on health system data assets to support new client opportunities. Success is measured by health system partners viewing Dandelion as a trusted, well-run counterparty providing value beyond data commercialization; data compliance processes running predictably with issues caught before becoming client-facing risks; and internal teams having a reliable single point of contact for health system matters. Reports to the Chief Network Officer with direct oversight of Consortium health system partner relationships and key internal partnerships with Commercial/GTM, Legal, Data, Engineering, and Executive Team. QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, health system operations, healthcare data/compliance, or related field; direct experience working with hospital systems strongly preferred - Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships at the executive level - Comfortable operating across both strategic (partnership strategy, executive communications) and tactical (data QA, technical troubleshooting) altitudes - Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for sensitive escalation and partner-facing communications - Experience with healthcare data types (structured EHR, clinical notes, ECG, echo, imaging) and de-identification/HIPAA a plus - Prior experience in data licensing, life sciences, or health data platform business a plus
