ANYbotics, a fast-growing mobile robotics company with 220+ employees, is seeking a Head of Business Technology & Automation to lead operational efficiency and process automation across the organization.
In this senior individual contributor role, you will own a greenfield automation and workflow environment with high autonomy and no headcount management burden. Your mandate spans Commercial, Product, Operations, Finance, and R&D functions, working cross-functionally without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver measurable automations with clear baseline metrics (hours saved, cycle times reduced, errors eliminated), tracking exact ROI before and after process changes.
- Build an operations network by identifying and onboarding key process owners across functions, establishing cross-functional delivery through influence and persuasion.
- Improve data quality at the source by resolving data issues alongside process owners, eliminating downstream BI fixes.
- Establish and enforce system-of-record policies that teams actively adopt.
- Drive organizational change through execution and stakeholder alignment with senior business and technical leaders.
- Leverage established IT and Data infrastructure (SAP, HubSpot, Wrike, Snowflake, Sigma, GitLab, HiBob, Notion) to support complex operational challenges in physical robotics deployment.
- Travel frequently to HQ to collaborate directly with teams on-site.
You will have executive and board visibility on productivity outcomes in an AI-focused organization, working on complex operational challenges supporting robotics deployed in extreme environments.
Requirements:
- Proven change management: successfully redesigned cross-functional processes despite organizational friction, with measurable results.
- Hands-on technical capability: built and shipped automation or integration projects in the last 24 months. Proficiency with n8n, Make, Workato, standard ERP/CRM platforms, APIs, and AI integrations (knowing when to use AI vs. deterministic systems).
- ROI-driven mindset: track concrete operational outcomes rather than framework adoption.
- Influence without authority: drive organizational change through persuasion and execution.
- Systems architecture experience: established system-of-record policies that teams actively use.
- Business acumen: understand how operations directly impact revenue and prioritize accordingly.
- Stakeholder alignment: hold your ground and negotiate effectively with senior leaders.
- Global presence: willingness to travel frequently to HQ.
Bonus qualifications:
- Technical or engineering degree, with comfort in hardware development environments.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations (PLM, ERP, SOP frameworks).
- Experience scaling business processes in high-growth companies.
- Familiarity with ANYbotics' stack (SAP, HubSpot, Wrike, Snowflake, Sigma, GitLab, HiBob, Notion).
- Experience with installed-base, entitlement, or recurring-revenue models for hardware/software products.
- Experience implementing internal AI training or adoption initiatives.
