Flexport is seeking a Head of Business Operations for the APAC region to lead the evolution of the Asia operating model into a scalable, future-focused foundation. This is a strategic leadership role overseeing cross-functional programs spanning financial, operational, organizational, and technology initiatives. Key responsibilities include driving strategic transformation of the Asia region's operating model to support long-term growth; conducting financial analyses (cost-benefit, ROI) to validate project feasibility and identify revenue-generating and cost-saving opportunities; leading operational excellence initiatives to optimize workflows, standardize processes, and establish KPIs and SLAs; directing large-scale, cross-functional transformation projects with defined scopes, timelines, and deliverables; leveraging data analytics to shape transformation strategies, uncover optimization opportunities, and oversee creation of dashboards and reports; mentoring and developing a team of project managers and data analytics professionals while fostering a collaborative, innovative culture; partnering with technology teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance quality and scalability; and acting as a key liaison between executive, regional, product, and functional leaders to align on transformation goals. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or business transformation roles, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or high-growth industries. Experience at a top-tier investment bank or management consultancy is strongly preferred. You should have a proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional transformations, strong financial acumen, expertise in data analytics and business intelligence, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Regional experience in Asia or emerging markets is a plus.
