Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy, and operate. The Tactical Effects Team is a cornerstone business line experiencing tremendous growth, working closely with specialist teams to solve complex customer challenges.
As Head of Business Line Operations, you will own all aspects of business operations and infrastructure for the Ghost and Precision Engagement Systems business lines, ensuring business development, engineering, and production teams have the resources and support needed to execute. You will serve as the General Manager's chief strategist, balancing resource and execution risk against aggressive growth plans while regularly monitoring financials to guide the business toward profitability targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning all operational infrastructure and ensuring cross-functional teams are equipped to execute
- Translating growth signals into demand across staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners across Anduril to deliver operational solutions
- Owning the business line's governance structure, from business reviews to annual planning, employee onboarding, and all-hands meetings
- Developing and evolving information pathways as the organization scales
- Collaborating with division leadership to evolve organizational structure and implement strong hiring, onboarding, and execution standards
- Executing special projects, evolving internal processes, standing up new functions, and leading M&A efforts as needed
The TRS Operations team is small but mighty, comprised of business generalists who solve specific business problems that hamper efficiency or productivity. One project may involve solving staffing inefficiencies across engineering teams; another may involve working across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to address capacity or production challenges.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7+ years of varied experience in an operating role at a high-growth technology company, starting a venture, or in finance or consulting
- Strong ability to solve complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric way
- High ownership and low ego, with strong outcome orientation and high humility
- Highly detail-oriented and data-driven
- Discerning and incredibly fast learner
- Tactical mindset with enjoyment of getting into the details
