The Head of Agentic Field Engineering will lead the full Americas technical delivery motion end-to-end, owning the transformation of customer underwriting and pricing workflows through agentic AI systems. This is a rare opportunity to build a function from an early stage, define what elite agentic field delivery looks like in the US market, and scale a team of technical leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the full Americas technical delivery motion, personally driving bootcamps on major pursuits and ensuring zero deals are lost on technical or delivery-confidence grounds.
- Quadrupling GWP (Gross Written Premiums) flowing through the platform year-on-year by expanding existing accounts and landing new logos, while reducing time-to-live for new lines of business by 50% within 12 months.
- Building and operating an agentic OS that systematically upskills Agent Builders, compounding delivery productivity and reducing time-to-productivity for new joiners.
- Landing a minimum of 3 field-built capabilities into the core product by month 6 through structured feedback cadence with Product leadership.
- Doubling ARR per head year-on-year, measured on average ramped FTE inclusive of contractor, partner, and offshore effort.
- Growing the Americas team while maintaining attrition below 20%.
- Developing a comprehensive development plan for every player-coach on the team.
The role sits at the intersection of deep technical delivery, customer transformation, and agentic AI. Field Engineering operates across the most complex pricing and underwriting challenges in the world, collaborating tightly with AI R&D, Product, and Sales. This is not a management layer removed from the work—the team operates with craft at its core, building harnesses, agents, and workflows that become the foundation for product capabilities used by every customer that follows.
Requirements:
- Built agentic AI systems personally and recently, with the ability to walk through harness architecture, toolchain, and quality validation approaches used.
- Grown through engineering into leadership while keeping hands in the work, whether through active side projects or demonstrable return to building enabled by agentic AI.
- Created internal tooling, harnesses, or workflows that made a team measurably faster and genuinely improved how people operate.
- Tackled the hard 80% of problems when the easy 20% would have shipped sooner, with concrete understanding of trade-offs and decision rationale.
- Operated in enterprise go-to-market environments with long cycles, multiple buying centers, and implementations measured in quarters, holding technical rooms and moving commercial outcomes.
- Managed a leadership team of player-coaches with a genuine track record of making those people better, and demonstrated speed of technical assimilation in new domains under real customer pressure.
