Anduril Industries is seeking a Hazard Zone Deployment Lead to join the Air Defense team, responsible for delivering and sustaining advanced air defense capabilities in challenging operational environments worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of operations, customer success, and technical expertise, requiring someone who can orchestrate complex deployment events, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for mission-critical systems in the field.
You will plan and execute hundreds of deployment events annually, including site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, and training visits. This involves meticulous coordination across hardware supply, logistics, engineering, and other functions to achieve mission success. You'll manage every phase of deployment—from site surveys and testing through installation, training, and ongoing sustainment. The role demands exceptional judgment, resourcefulness, and composure under pressure, with the ability to anticipate contingencies, build lightweight processes, and continuously improve based on lessons learned.
Relationship management is central to success. You'll operate independently in high-risk environments, building trust with customers, industry partners, users, and Anduril teammates through effective communication, responsiveness, and follow-through. You'll develop deep understanding of customer mission requirements—including threat profiles, regulatory constraints, resource limitations, and rules of engagement—and become the voice of the customer within Anduril, translating needs to engineering teams.
You'll also develop comprehensive product expertise across Anduril's Family of Systems, becoming an opinionated power user who understands sensor modalities, sensor fusion, power and networking requirements, and can reliably forecast system performance across diverse threat profiles and environmental conditions.
Required: Advanced STEM degree or 4+ years of technical work experience in defense, national security, or aerospace. Proven project management skills, creative problem-solving ability, and demonstrated experience in relevant domains.
