Anduril Industries is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced PCB and fuzing systems for next-generation military platforms. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of PCB design—from requirements gathering and schematic design through component selection, layout, bring-up, testing, and system integration. You will develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems and collaborate closely with vehicle development teams to design tailored fuzing systems and effectors. Key responsibilities include developing system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses, conducting peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews, performing lab and ground testing, and supporting field operations through root cause analysis. You'll work with standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB) and common MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices. Low-level firmware development for bring-up and test is part of the role. Required qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting complex board designs. You must be proficient with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers) and electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred). Experience with signal integrity and power integrity design is essential. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance and willing to travel up to 25% for testing. Preferred qualifications include an active DoD security clearance, 5–10 years as an individual contributor in electrical design for fuzing/ordnance systems, knowledge of DO-254/DO-178C/DO-160 avionics standards, UAS/missile/maritime program experience, and familiarity with MIL-STD specifications and explosive operations.
