Anduril Industries is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Flight Engineering team within the Air Dominance & Strike division. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge flight system technologies for advanced aerospace systems, including tactical missile systems, strategic weapons, and hypersonic strike and defense systems.
You will develop, implement, and test algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control systems across subsonic, supersonic, and hypersonic autonomous platforms. Key responsibilities include designing and assessing GNC architectures considering sensors, actuators, and algorithms; participating in all phases of system development from concept through operation; and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including systems engineers, flight software engineers, and test engineers to ensure system-wide integration and performance.
You will contribute to design reviews, safety assessments, and system documentation; use simulation and analysis tools to verify GNC models and system performance under different operating conditions; provide system engineering expertise in GNC development; troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, testing, and operational phases; and stay current with latest technologies and trends in GNC engineering.

Required qualifications include a BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with focus on dynamics and control; strong theoretical knowledge of flight mechanics, classical and modern control theory, estimation, and filtering techniques; 3+ years of experience in GNC engineering or related technical experience; proficiency with GNC simulation tools like MATLAB and Simulink; familiarity with 6-DOF simulations; and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
