Base Power is rebuilding America's electrical grid by deploying distributed battery networks to transform a fragile, centralized system into a resilient and abundant one. The GTM Systems Engineer role exists to build the systems and workflows that keep the go-to-market engine fast, accurate, and scalable.
You will work across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to design and implement better workflows, connect data across systems, and build tools that help teams move faster and operate more effectively. This is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how people work, translating that into system design, and building technical solutions that make operating the organization efficient.
Key responsibilities include:
- Optimize how the GTM teams deliver 5-10x scale in moving leads and onboarding members through systems
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure clean and consistent data pipelines and integrations across CRM and internal tools
- Identify system gaps and bottlenecks in the operating system connecting Sales, Marketing, and Member Experience; ship fixes and design workflows and automations that improve speed and quality of GTM execution
- Build a roadmap based on GTM needs, data insights, and observations
- Build reports to investigate problems, analyze results, and drive action from insights
- Measure and communicate the impact of implemented solutions across stakeholders
Base operates as a lean, high-ownership team across marketing, sales, support, product, and design. The company emphasizes first-principles thinking, operating at pace, direct feedback, ownership, and commitment to the mission of rebuilding the grid. Work is in-person and intensive.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in technical product, sales ops, data engineering, software, or other ops roles
- Systems thinking mindset; ability to understand how processes fit together across teams
- High persistence to navigate complex constraints
- Ability to build software within constraints of existing infrastructure (not 0→1 AI coding)
- Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong data fundamentals
- Experience with CRM tools or working with GTM teams
- Ability to measure and share impact of solutions
