As GTM Strategy & Operations Manager for Pre-Sales, you will be a strategic partner to Solutions Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership. You'll drive strategic planning, operational execution, and analytical rigor across the revenue engine, sitting at the intersection of go-to-market execution, company strategy, and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own SE operations: Lead day-to-day operations and long-term planning including capacity and coverage models, hiring and ramp planning, comp plan design, metrics, and reporting.
- Act as strategic thought partner to SE leadership and executives, solving complex problems and bringing structure to ambiguity.
- Drive GTM cadence and accountability by running the operating rhythm—coverage and staffing reviews, pipeline/deal reviews, QBRs, and leadership syncs.
- Lead cross-functional execution across SE, Sales, Marketing, CS, Product, and Finance on strategic initiatives.
- Build with data using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to structure analysis, validate assumptions, and uncover insights.
- Own special projects including coverage model design, GTM enablement, and POC motion redesign.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, presales/solutions engineering operations, consulting, investing, or similar high-performance environment.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills; fluent in Excel/Sheets and able to write SQL or willing to learn.
- Deep understanding of GTM motions and technical sales cycles with knowledge of SE coverage ratios, POC/technical win rates, demo environment strategy, and capacity planning.
- Experience with GTM systems like Salesforce, Gong, and PreSales platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to structure thinking clearly and present to executives.
- Attention to detail and high bias for action.
- Technically inclined with comfort using Salesforce Flows and stitching together data across systems.
- Collaborative mindset and proven ability to manage large, ambiguous projects requiring both strategic and tactical execution.
