As GTM Strategy & Operations Manager for Post-Sales, you will be the primary business partner to Zip's Customer Success organization. You'll own the operating rhythms, models, and metrics that drive how the team covers, retains, and grows the customer base. This is a high-impact role that brings structure to a fast-scaling organization while standardizing ways of working across post-sales and driving cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Account Management, and Technical Support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning post-sales operations: leading day-to-day operations and long-term planning, including book design and rebalancing, segmentation, metrics, and reporting
- Acting as a strategic thought partner to post-sales leadership and executives, solving complex problems and framing key decisions
- Driving GTM cadence and accountability by running operating rhythms including book reviews, renewal forecasts, at-risk/churn reviews, QBRs, and leadership syncs
- Leading cross-functional execution across Sales, Marketing, CS, Product, and Finance on strategic initiatives
- Building with data using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to structure analysis and uncover insights
- Owning special projects such as building renewal forecast processes or redefining health score systems
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in customer success/post-sale operations, sales strategy, revenue operations, consulting, investing, or similar high-performance environment
- Strong analytical and modeling skills; fluency in Excel/Sheets and ability to write SQL or willingness to learn
- Deep understanding of post-sale customer lifecycle and SaaS business models, including retention and expansion metrics (NRR, GRR, churn), account health, CSM/Solutions Consultant coverage models, and implementation/time-to-value velocity
- Experience working with RevOps systems such as Salesforce, Gong, Superset, and similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to structure thinking clearly, write concise memos, and present to executives
- Attention to detail and high bias for action; ability to move fast and find solutions when others see blockers
- Technical inclination; comfort with Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and data integration across systems
- Collaborative mindset; opinionated but open to perspectives and skilled at driving alignment
- Proven track record managing large, ambiguous projects requiring both strategic thinking and tactical execution
