Sarvam AI is building India's full-stack sovereign AI platform, working across research, models, infrastructure, and applications. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, technical problem-solving, and market intelligence, focused on the company's Model API product.
You will own API customer relationships end-to-end: running demos, onboarding sessions, and integration walkthroughs to get customers from API key to working product quickly, then supporting them through production. You'll write scripts and build small demo applications to unblock customer integrations, handle technical problems directly, and create reusable reference implementations.
A critical part of the role is serving as the voice of the customer inside Sarvam. You'll relay model feedback with precision—transcription errors, voice quality gaps, translation failures, LLM output issues—to research and engineering teams with enough specificity that they can reproduce and prioritize issues. You'll then close the loop with customers.
You'll also surface market insights by tracking what customers and prospects are building, mapping the competitive landscape, spotting recurring patterns across accounts, and bringing a point of view to GTM and Product strategy.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a customer-facing role (customer success, solutions, pre-sales, or developer advocacy at a tech company). You're technically capable: you read API docs fluently, write basic Python or JavaScript scripts, and debug integrations independently. You're an excellent communicator—confident in demos, clear in writing, equally effective with business stakeholders and engineers. You're genuinely curious about AI and want to understand how models work, not just what they return. You're organized and proactive, managing multiple threads without dropping anything.
Bonus experience includes familiarity with speech, LLM, or document processing APIs; experience working with engineering or research teams; and having built something with an API yourself.
