Chanakya is Sarvam AI's specialized vertical focused on national security and strategic institutions in India. The role is to build and lead go-to-market strategy for this emerging function, working directly with founders and leadership.
You will shape Chanakya's GTM approach while interfacing with senior institutional stakeholders (armed forces, intelligence agencies, financial regulators, central ministries). The vertical operates as a self-contained unit with its own pricing, business, product, engineering, and custom-model functions.
Chanakya has already achieved product-market fit, booked significant revenue, and has large strategic projects underway. This is a zero-to-one opportunity to build emerging functions within an established company context.
The role requires someone with a strong technical foundation (top engineering background from IITs, BITS, Ivy League, or equivalent) combined with top-tier consulting experience (MBB preferred). You should be comfortable with senior institutional stakeholders and our engineering teams, with entrepreneurial ownership of end-to-end outcomes.
Responsibilities include driving go-to-market strategy, client engagement with strategic institutions, and building out Chanakya's commercial functions. This is positioned as a leadership seat in the making—a route to leading a part of the vertical as it scales.
Base location is Delhi NCR with travel across India. All roles involve working in restricted environments and traveling to client sites at short notice. The posting targets pre-MBA professionals looking to build rather than pursue traditional business school paths.
