Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 global businesses. The GTM Partnerships team drives customer acquisition through strategic ecosystem relationships. This role is based in Seoul and focuses on building and expanding partnerships with corporate secretarial firms, law firms, accounting firms, tax advisors, and related professional service providers in South Korea.
You will own the full partnership lifecycle: strengthening existing relationships and statements of work (SOWs), identifying and onboarding new strategic partners not yet working with Airwallex, and developing win strategies informed by competitive intelligence. Key responsibilities include maintaining executive-level partner relationships while executing day-to-day commercial activities, protecting and growing existing SOWs through deeper collaboration structures, and helping partners position Airwallex effectively against alternatives through messaging, training, and joint account strategies.
You'll work closely with partners supporting company formation, overseas expansion, FX operations, and compliance-heavy customer journeys. Success requires monitoring competitor activity (including solutions like Aspire, Stripe, Payoneer, Mercury), using market intelligence to improve win rates, and collaborating with internal teams to defend strategic accounts and expand partner-led revenue.
Ideal candidates have strong experience managing large or strategically important partners in corporate services, legal, tax, or advisory ecosystems. You should be commercially sharp, structured, and comfortable in competitive partnership environments. Preferred experience includes exposure to foreign exchange operations, overseas entity setup, global business structuring, or managing partnerships where partner influence drives customer onboarding and solution selection. The role emphasizes deepening existing partnerships, establishing early customer lock-in through new partner collaboration, and improving partner-led revenue contribution through disciplined execution.
