Pogo is hiring its first GTM Engineer to build AI-powered systems that drive revenue growth. You'll partner closely with Growth, Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to ship code that directly impacts pipeline, conversion, and retention metrics.
Key responsibilities include: shipping AI-powered workflows that scale growth and sales motions; auditing the existing GTM stack to identify gaps and redundancies; embedding with sales and growth teams to systematize their best practices; building internal tools and AI agents that automate manual workflows like lead routing, enrichment, outbound personalization, account research, and attribution; deciding when to leverage off-the-shelf tools versus custom builds; collaborating with engineering and design to test features and dogfood the company's own AI capabilities; and documenting playbooks so wins propagate across the organization.
You should have 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, with direct application to GTM, growth, or revenue systems. You're proficient with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) and have shipped non-trivial projects with them. You have hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents—RAG, evals, tool use, prompt engineering. You're fluent in the modern GTM stack (Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Cargo, Gong, Outreach, Instantly) and comfortable navigating APIs, webhooks, and integrations. You have strong product and design sensibility, think in systems, and can translate messy operational problems into clean automated solutions. You possess commercial instinct—able to identify leverage points from sales calls or growth dashboards. You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders in ambiguous situations and have built production systems used by real users.
Bonus qualifications: early-stage startup experience, shipped AI agents that moved actual revenue metrics, RevOps/Marketing Ops/Sales Engineering background.
Pogo operates with a "Calculated Speed" ethos: shipping weekly, iterating rapidly, and pivoting based on data and user feedback. The role offers exposure across the entire company, access to cutting-edge tools and platforms, and the opportunity to shape what the GTM Engineer function looks like as the company scales. The company offers unlimited PTO with a minimum 20-day vacation policy and flexible work schedules.
