n8n is an open-source workflow orchestration platform for AI automation, backed by Sequoia and SAP with a $5.2bn valuation. The company operates a dual commercial motion: a self-serve product adopted by thousands of developers, and an enterprise sales team. You'll be the first dedicated analyst focused entirely on the sales and GTM side of the business. You'll own analytics across the entire sales funnel and GTM planning cycle. Your core responsibilities include building pipeline models and views that track coverage, stage conversion, velocity, and slippage; supporting RevOps on forecasting with rigorous analysis and accuracy tracking; and running win/loss analysis that surfaces actionable insights beyond surface-level factors like price or timing. A major part of your role is connecting the product-led growth motion to the sales team. You'll develop account and lead scoring based on product usage and firmographic signals, working with RevOps and product analysts to sharpen PQL and MQL definitions until sales reps trust what lands in their queue. You'll also model territories, quota, and capacity for annual planning, segment the customer base to identify which accounts and motions actually deliver ROI, and help leadership decide where the next euro of GTM spend goes. You'll build the analytical foundations that the GTM organization runs on: partnering with Analytics Engineering on Salesforce and product data models in dbt/BigQuery, standardizing metric definitions across sales, marketing, and finance, and shipping dashboards that GTM managers actually use to run their week—not one-off decks. Crucially, you'll sit as a peer in pipeline reviews and planning sessions, not as a reporting function. You'll push back constructively on numbers people are attached to and turn analysis into crisp, written recommendations that move decisions. The role offers significant autonomy: you'll define the GTM analytics function from scratch rather than inherit someone else's version. The data foundations are already solid (BigQuery, dbt, Dagster, Metabase, Salesforce maintained by a dedicated data team), so you focus on analysis rather than infrastructure firefighting. You'll work directly with GTM leadership in a company that values autonomy, directness, and impact. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in sales, revenue, or GTM analytics at B2B SaaS with real ownership of the sales funnel - Deep fluency in sales metrics: pipeline coverage, stage conversion, velocity, win rate, ACV, quota attainment, ramp, ARR/NRR - Hands-on Salesforce experience (or equivalent CRM), including understanding its structure, quirks, and data hygiene challenges - Forecasting experience: built or contributed to forecast models and understand what makes them defensible - Expert SQL; comfortable in modern warehouse stacks (BigQuery, dbt, Metabase/Hex or equivalent) - Territory, quota, or capacity modeling experience for a real sales organization - Credibility with sales leaders and reps; ability to constructively challenge leadership on data interpretation - High agency: you identify what's worth analyzing, execute it, and arrive with recommendations - Communication skills that land: memos and readouts that change what people do next NICE-TO-HAVES: - Product-led growth experience, especially self-serve to sales-assisted handoff - Usage-based or credit-based pricing analysis - Lead or account scoring (statistical or ML-based) - Python for analysis (pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn) - Developer tools, open-source, or technical product background - Wider GTM stack experience (Gong, Clay, enrichment/intent data, marketing attribution) - dbt modeling capability
