Motive is seeking a GTM AI Engineer to join the AI Operations team, building internal AI tools and agents that empower the company's 2,500+ member go-to-market organization. You will own the full development lifecycle—from prototyping and proof-of-concept through production scaling, beta testing, and ongoing maintenance—for a suite of AI-powered solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building sophisticated agentic tools using platforms like Glean and N8N, and full-stack applications using Cursor and Google Cloud
- Developing complex AI agents and workflows leveraging foundation models (Gemini, GPT, Claude) through APIs and web interfaces
- Collaborating with product managers and Enterprise Systems teams to securely integrate data sources while maintaining data governance
- Ensuring solutions follow UX best practices and are accessible to non-technical business users
- Managing cost envelopes for production use cases, optimizing LLM model selection for performance and token efficiency
- Conducting beta tests with end-users, training teams on tool usage, and maintaining documentation
- Making architectural decisions on when agentic workflows are appropriate versus business-logic solutions
- Staying current with LLM advancements and agentic orchestration patterns
You should have strong fundamentals in AI concepts (context windows, token consumption, compute costs, chunking, performance benchmarks), experience with prompt engineering for complex tasks, knowledge of Python, SQL/SOQL, and API scripting, and familiarity with orchestration layers and MCP. An experimentation mindset, comfort with rapid prototyping and learning from failures, and genuine passion for AI's potential to transform work are essential. Each solution you launch will have measurable adoption and financial impact targets that you own.
