NOCD is a digital health company focused on identifying and treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using evidence-based methods. OCD affects over 181 million people globally but over 90% lack access to effective care due to stigma and misdiagnosis. NOCD operates the world's largest community of OCD patients, offering teletherapy with specialized clinicians, video-based treatment, and tech-enabled tools.
In this role, you will own the member journey from signup through first therapy session, with a focus on helping people newly learning about OCD understand their condition and how NOCD can help. You'll deeply understand member struggles and barriers to treatment, then design personalized product flows, lifecycle journeys, and content that guide them toward starting therapy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the complete onboarding-to-first-session journey, reimagining how NOCD helps members learning about OCD
- Improve member conversion by understanding needs and designing product flows and lifecycle journeys that address barriers
- Develop and own messaging strategy across the member journey, maintaining high standards for language, framing, and experience on every touchpoint
- Lead AI-powered personalization across onboarding, community feed, and lifecycle journeys
- Build cohesive experiences across product and lifecycle channels (app, SMS, email, push, in-app messaging) in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Establish rigorous experimentation practices and drive fast learning cycles
This is a strategic doer role: you'll define strategy, build and test experiences, learn what works, and partner with product, design, clinical, and content teams to scale successful initiatives.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in product, marketing, or growth with ownership of measurable conversion-focused outcomes
- Exceptional messaging instincts and high standards for communication; experience contributing to quality content or editorial work
- Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering to build digital tools, flows, or experiences
- Proficiency with analytics tools to understand user behavior, diagnose conversion opportunities, and evaluate performance
- Familiarity with lifecycle/CRM platforms (e.g., Braze) and how email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging work together
- Highly organized and business-results oriented; ability to maintain clear priorities and lead reprioritization based on data
- Passion for mental health and NOCD's mission; appreciation for lived experiences of people with OCD
- Based in Chicago, IL area and able to work 2 days/week in NOCD's downtown office
