Cryptio is the leading institutional back office for digital assets and AI, powering accounting, reconciliation, fund administration, and credit workflows for enterprises operating across blockchain-based markets. The company transforms complex on-chain and off-chain crypto activity into auditable records, supporting critical finance workflows including accounting, treasury, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and loan activity.
You will activate an existing partner network of major custodians and exchanges (Anchorage, BitGo, Copper, Zodia, Utila, Blockdaemon, and others) where referral agreements are already in place. Your core mission is to build genuine relationships with account managers inside these partner organizations—the people who own renewals and can drive referrals—rather than pursuing cold outreach or managing sales teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with account managers at partner custodians and exchanges
- Running a steady cadence of touchpoints (approximately 7 per month) with each partner
- Identifying and resolving referral stalls by addressing underlying incentive problems
- Tracking partner performance and making pipeline numbers visible across the business
- Collaborating with internal account executives to convert referrals into closed deals
- Working with marketing on joint campaigns, events, and content initiatives
- Exploring product integration opportunities with partners (e.g., "refer to Cryptio" buttons)
- Representing Cryptio at industry events and becoming a recognizable figure in the crypto ecosystem
This role emphasizes real ownership and autonomy. You'll have budget, executive backing, and the freedom to figure things out as you go. Success is measured by quarterly referral pipeline generation, not traditional sales quotas.
You are a strong relationship builder with commercial instincts and entrepreneurial drive. You understand that this is a generalist role requiring product knowledge—you'll need to get comfortable with the accounting side of crypto operations to spot new partnership angles. You genuinely love crypto, follow the space closely, and can hold your own conversing with industry players.
Requirements:
- 2–6 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or go-to-market roles
- Proven track record in environments with real commercial pressure and measurable targets
- Crypto-native background or deep passion for digital assets
- Strong relationship-building skills focused on individuals, not just organizations
- Comfort with high autonomy and self-directed problem-solving
- Regular use of AI tools and enthusiasm for their potential
- Existing relationships with account managers at custodians like Anchorage, BitGo, or Copper (strong plus, not required)
