Mammoth Brands, a modern CPG company behind category-leading brands including Harry's, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie, is seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to own growth strategy and execution for one of its brands.
In this general manager role for growth, you will own the brand's P&L and everything that drives it: creative strategy, channel management (online and offline), and social commerce across TikTok Shop and affiliate. You decide what to make, where to spend, and how fast to scale, and you answer for the results.
Key responsibilities include:
**P&L and Growth Strategy**: Own the brand's P&L and growth targets for revenue, new customers, and CAC. Set channel mix and budget allocation within agreed parameters. Build the brand's growth narrative for monthly business reviews and executive business reviews, articulating what is working, what is not, and what changes you are making.
**Creative Strategy**: Set the brand's creative strategy and own its creative territories, evolving them with performance data and product roadmap. Approve monthly creative allocation proposed by your Creative Strategist. Hold the creative quality bar and give final sign-off on performance creative.
**Channel Management**: Own channel strategy and performance across online and offline channels, including DTC paid media. Decide budget allocation and hold channel managers accountable for launch quota, spend efficiency, and testing discipline.
**Social Commerce**: Own the brand's social commerce growth across TikTok Shop and affiliate. Decide how the shop fits alongside DTC and retail, including which launches and hero products to prioritize. Hold your Social Commerce Lead accountable for shop growth and ensure they have necessary budget, inventory, creator support, and content. Set creator direction with the central Community team.
**Team Leadership**: Lead the brand pod including Social Commerce Lead, Channel Manager(s), Creative Strategist, and Offline Lead where applicable. Set clear ownership, cadences, and accountability. Hire, develop, and retain the team.
**Cross-Functional Partnership**: Serve as the growth counterpart to brand marketing, DTC, ecommerce, product, retail, and finance. Translate launch calendars, retail moments, and brand priorities into the growth plan. Approve brand fit on creator deals over $10K.
Success metrics include brand revenue and new customers on plan across DTC and social commerce, with CAC and contribution margin on growth spend at target; healthy creative testing with strong launch quota hit rates and share of new concepts becoming winners; a fully staffed, retained team running cadences without escalation; and early problem flagging with attached plans.
Mammoth Brands emphasizes AI fluency and experimentation in day-to-day work, providing tools, training, and space for team members to build real fluency and shape how the company uses AI. The working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the company's 70,000 square foot SoHo office, which features bagels on Wednesdays, lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens.
**Requirements**:
- 8 to 12 years in DTC growth or performance marketing with direct ownership of a brand's or business line's P&L and growth targets
- Hands-on fluency across growth marketing: paid social, paid search, social commerce (including TikTok Shop and affiliate), and offline channels; ability to go deep with channel managers, not just review dashboards
- Strong creative judgment; ability to identify what good performance creative looks like and articulate why something works
- Experience leading a team across disciplines
- Commercial acumen: comfortable with unit economics, contribution margin, and making trade-offs under budget constraints
- Brings urgency and structure; ability to build relationships in a matrixed organization
- Not a fit if you are a brand marketer without owned performance numbers or a channel specialist without cross-functional team leadership experience
