Crosby is an AI-native law firm that combines human legal expertise with proprietary technology to help ambitious companies execute commercial contracts faster. Founded by experienced legal and tech operators, Crosby is building a "neofirm" model—neither pure software nor pure services—that owns outcomes alongside clients.
As Growth Lead, you will own the strategy and execution of Crosby's growth motion, transforming raw demand into a scalable, repeatable system. You'll drive pipeline growth across multiple channels by identifying target buyers, developing creative outreach strategies, and continuously optimizing conversion at every funnel stage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building a repeatable outbound motion in partnership with sales: develop prioritized target lists, craft messaging and sequencing, and automate touchpoints like gifting and event invites
- Identifying and executing brand-accretive paid channel strategies (ads, awareness campaigns) that resonate with buying committees
- Running continuous experiments to test new channels, messaging, and campaigns; scaling winners and cutting losers
- Driving ROI from events and conferences by measuring ICP/TAM overlap, prioritizing venues, and building automated invite and follow-up systems
- Owning analytics and funnel intelligence: track campaign performance, analyze cohort data, and translate insights into immediate pipeline and conversion improvements
You'll work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you see a funnel opportunity in the morning and ship a campaign by afternoon. Success requires both creative experimentation and rigorous analytical discipline—you'll own CAC, conversion, activation, and payback metrics by channel, building dashboards and reading cohorts yourself.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–6 years of experience leading growth at startups, building marketing channels from 0-1 and scaling from 1-10
- Creative problem-solving paired with analytical rigor; comfort with unconventional ideas and testing
- High agency and ownership: you move quickly, communicate clearly, and thrive in ambiguity
- Strong judgment about brand positioning and what crosses the line from creative to brand-damaging
- Hands-on analytical capability: you build dashboards, track funnels, and analyze cohorts independently
- Low ego and willingness to execute tasks yourself, including writing emails and building ad creative
- Ability to move fast, communicate clearly, and operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
