You will own the full event lifecycle end-to-end, from concept and account targeting through execution and sales follow-up. This is not a logistics-only role. You'll manage everything from small curated dinners to major FinTech conferences, handling multiple events per week. Responsibilities include ideation, email and LinkedIn copy, sponsorship negotiation, booth management, vendor coordination, swag, shipping, travel, budgeting, and team preparation. You'll drive pipeline and revenue impact, not just attendance. You'll audit the existing events strategy, identify optimization opportunities, and test new formats in collaboration with Sales and Partnerships leadership. You'll own pre-event outreach, create compelling copy that drives qualified leads, execute creative plays to convert prospects into opportunities, and track spend with detailed Salesforce documentation and reporting on pipeline and revenue impact. You'll also spot growth levers that emerge at events—such as customer partnership opportunities or content collaborations—and activate them with the broader Growth team. A key part of the role is building scalable systems that allow the team to host more events while maintaining the personal, high-touch approach that makes them effective. This is a high-ownership role on a lean team, reporting directly to the Events Lead. You'll contribute to strategy and outcomes from day one, not just execute a prewritten plan. You'll work directly with sales leadership on strategy and with individual reps on account-level targeting. You are the face of these events, hosting, building relationships on the spot, and ensuring attendees are thrilled to be there. REQUIREMENTS: - 2–4 years in field marketing or events, ideally B2B SaaS, with quantifiable business impact (measured in dollars, not just attendee counts) - Trade show and third-party conference experience; deep familiarity with exhibitor logistics and strategies to optimize them - Real business acumen: comfort being measured on pipeline and revenue, and fluency working with sales on strategy, account targeting, and follow-through - Ability to manage dozens of events simultaneously, each with distinct formats, goals, and deliverables - High ownership and scrappy mindset; ability to make creative use of budget - Strong personal taste and personality; ability to host, build relationships, and create memorable experiences NICE TO HAVES: - Background in fintech, accounting, or B2B SaaS selling to finance personas (CFOs, finance teams, controllers) - Experience with enterprise (not just commercial) sales motions - Cross-functional collaboration experience with sales, partnerships, and marketing - Comfort in new and ambiguous environments; ability to quickly learn vertical nuances and build rapport across ecommerce, SaaS, wholesale, and other sectors
