Halter is a climate-tech company transforming sustainable grazing practices using innovative technology. The company enables farmers and graziers to optimize cattle management without traditional infrastructure like fences, quad bikes, or dogs—backed by tier-one investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and DCVC. You will own Halter's website as an engineer, responsible for converting traffic into qualified leads. In the near term, you'll build and ship landing pages, components, and experiments rapidly in Webflow. Your larger mandate is scoping and leading the migration from Webflow to a custom, headless-CMS-backed architecture that scales across New Zealand, Australia, and the US. Your core accountability is the conversion rate: page experience, lead form optimization, load speed, technical SEO, and crawlability. You'll partner with the Performance Marketing Lead and channel owners (Paid Social, Search, SEO, ABM) to ensure the website multiplies the output of every marketing dollar spent. When the ABM team needs personalized landing experiences for target accounts, you build them to brief. You'll use AI as a core tool throughout—page builds, component generation, copy optimization, and test analysis. You're expected to be fluent with MCP servers, automation tools like n8n, and modern development practices that ship faster and sharper outputs. Your day includes: shipping new landing pages in hours rather than weeks; scoping the headless migration (stack selection, CMS choice, URL mapping, SEO sequencing); designing and running A/B tests on key pages; rebuilding lead forms to reduce friction and improve quality; collaborating with paid and organic channel owners to fix underperforming pages; and building personalized experiences for enterprise ABM targets. You don't stop at form submission—you track results through the funnel and work with downstream teams to fix problems wherever they surface. You're an experimenter who forms hypotheses, runs clean tests, reads results honestly, and ships winners based on data, not opinions.
