Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building modular AI data centers powered by an energy-first approach. The company owns and operates the full stack from electrons to tokens, positioning itself as a leader in solving AI compute's power bottleneck. You will own the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Spark™, Crusoe's modular AI data center product line. This is a senior product role at the intersection of physical product management and high-performance computing, requiring deep expertise in hardware, data center architecture, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities: **Product Strategy & Roadmap:** Own and maintain the multi-year Spark modular data center roadmap. Author the Spark Product Requirements Document (PRD), translating stakeholder inputs into clear, prioritized, testable requirements. Make architecture-level product recommendations and defend product-defining decisions. Stay conversant in AI compute roadmaps and rack-scale architecture trends. Research and synthesize inputs from various "customers" of the Spark modular data center. **Requirements Ownership & Cross-Functional Partnership:** Work closely with the Spark Technical Project Management team to coordinate roadmap-to-execution handoffs. Understand and enforce distinctions between market, product, and engineering requirements. Partner directly with electrical, mechanical, and network engineering leads to pressure-test feasibility and quantify tradeoffs. Align with the Group Product Manager for Edge Compute on GPU generation cut-ins and rack architecture choices affecting both products. **Execution & Continuous Improvement:** Support phase gate rigor in development programs, providing product perspective at milestone reviews. Define product-level acceptance criteria for new Spark generations before shipping. Track deployed Spark unit performance against product intent (cost/MW, deployment velocity, reliability) and feed learnings back into the roadmap. **Commercial & Customer Partnership:** Champion Spark's product vision internally and externally to customers, partners, and executives. Participate in customer and field conversations, converting deployment feedback into PRD-level requirements. Own pricing and packaging inputs, balancing deployment economics, customer flexibility, and long-term returns. **Requirements:** - Track record of owning progressively complex, cutting-edge multi-year product roadmaps with multiple wins bringing novel products to market - Direct experience with high-performance compute, data center, or similarly demanding compute infrastructure - Genuine passion for writing excellent product requirements with clear understanding of market, product, and engineering requirement distinctions - Fluency in GPU roadmaps and rack-scale architecture - Track record of tight, effective partnership with technical program/project managers and hardware engineering leads on first-of-a-kind builds - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives on product direction - Must have shipped multiple, high-complexity physical/hardware products **Bonus Qualifications:** - Direct experience specifying or making tradeoffs on data center electrical architecture - Experience in modular/prefab construction, distributed energy, or advanced manufacturing product lines - Background operating formal MRD/PRD/ERD stage-gate processes at companies developing first-of-a-kind products - Advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field **Not a Good Fit If:** - You've only managed software products or roadmaps - You want to own day-to-day execution and schedule rather than product definition - You haven't shipped multiple, high-complexity physical/hardware products
