The Golang Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for the company's card payment and card issuing platform. Key responsibilities include participating in development of core business modules such as card issuing, card accounts, authorization, clearing & settlement, transaction processing, billing, rewards, and benefits systems. You will design and implement end-to-end card transaction processing workflows, including Authorization, Reversal, Capture, Refund, and Reconciliation, ensuring transaction accuracy, reliability, and consistency. The role requires participation in system architecture design and technical solution planning, contributing to legacy system analysis, migration, and modernization initiatives. You will continuously optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to support mission-critical financial services, identify and resolve system bottlenecks, and improve system throughput and response time under high-concurrency environments. Engineering quality is paramount: you will produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, conduct code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and develop comprehensive unit and integration tests. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, plus 3+ years of backend development experience using Golang and/or Java. Hands-on experience in card issuing systems, card payment systems, or card transaction processing platforms is highly preferred. You should have strong proficiency in Golang and/or Java with solid understanding of concurrent programming, strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, computer networking, and data structures, and familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native development concepts. Technical requirements include strong experience with MySQL and SQL performance optimization, proficiency in Redis and caching strategies, experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems, solid understanding of microservices architecture, experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers, and familiarity with service governance practices. You should have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex. Preferred qualifications include experience building systems for licensed card issuers, acquirers, or payment processors; familiarity with ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 messaging standards; experience with crypto payment infrastructure or digital asset payment systems; experience building accounting, reconciliation, or treasury systems; familiarity with PCI-DSS and payment security standards; and proven experience leading payment system development from scratch or participating in large-scale core system migration projects.
