Avon AI, recently acquired by Pagaya, is a management and control platform for enterprise conversational AI. The platform helps enterprises govern, monitor, and manage AI agents across any framework or vendor, with capabilities including continuous quality monitoring, proactive testing, knowledge-base management, and real-time guardrails. Customers include banks, insurers, and enterprises in finance, healthcare, insurance, and travel, deployed as SaaS on AWS or in private cloud. You will be the first go-to-market hire in the US and one of the first in the sales and marketing organization. This is a player-coach role: you carry a quota and close enterprise deals yourself while building the US team as the pipeline grows. You will work directly with the founders and have real influence over sales strategy, messaging, and hiring. Responsibilities include: **Sales**: Own the full enterprise sales cycle in the US, focusing on banks, insurers, and regulated companies. Identify champions, map buying committees (business, risk, IT, procurement), and run multi-threaded processes to close deals. Conduct discovery and demos, scope pilots on customer production conversations, and convert pilots to production contracts. Manage pipeline and forecasting in CRM. **Marketing and Demand Generation**: Build top-of-funnel through outbound campaigns, events, webinars, partner referrals, and content. Work with partners, resellers, consulting firms, and AWS Marketplace to source and accelerate deals. Sharpen positioning and messaging for the US market based on buyer feedback. **Build the Organization**: Define sales process, playbook, and qualification criteria for scaling. Help recruit and onboard next sales and marketing hires. Feed structured customer and market input to the product team. **Requirements:** - US-based seller with track record closing enterprise software deals with large organizations, ideally in regulated industries (banking, insurance, healthcare) - Experience selling into financial companies is a strong advantage - Startup background: have sold early-stage products without large brand support and comfortable building from little - Full-stack go-to-market capability: can prospect, run marketing activities, present to executives, and negotiate contracts - Comfortable with technical products; can explain AI agents, quality monitoring, and deployment options (SaaS and private cloud) credibly to business and IT buyers - Self-directed and structured: set own priorities, build process where none exists, report clearly - Connection to Israel or experience working with Israeli headquarters is a plus
