Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. As a Global Supply Manager for Machining, you will work closely with stakeholders across Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and other functions to design and scale supply chains for complex machined components that create competitive advantage.
Key responsibilities include leading sourcing and supplier management for custom machined components and major vehicle structures, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met. You will develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning to support Terran R build schedules. Cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams is essential to influence design for manufacturability and align procurement with program milestones.
You will drive supplier performance through rigorous risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking. The role includes mentoring and supporting team members, building expertise in precision machining processes and supplier development. You will act as a thought leader for machining commodities, continuously improving sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness.
