Relativity Space is building Terran R, a commercial launch vehicle designed to deliver payloads to orbit. The company is expanding its Strategic Sourcing team and hiring Global Supply Managers (GSMs) across multiple sites including Cape Canaveral, FL; Stennis, MS; and Long Beach, CA.
In this role, you will own end-to-end sourcing and supply strategy for one or more commodity categories, including Construction & Infrastructure, Mechanical/Fabrication/Skilled Trades, Equipment/Rentals/Cryogenics, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Logistics/Marine & Recovery, or Central Procurement (IT, professional services, facilities, HR, contingent labor).
As the strategic category owner, you will define sourcing approaches, lead high-value negotiations, design and manage the supply base, and partner with engineering, finance, and operations leaders to deliver on cost, quality, delivery, and supply assurance objectives. You will mentor sourcing specialists, lead cross-functional initiatives, and influence outcomes across the organization without direct authority.
The Supply Chain team at Relativity turns design intent into executable reality, balancing lead time, cost, complexity, and manufacturability to ensure the company can build and scale Terran R. This role operates at the intersection of technical ambition and business execution, working closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other functions to make decisions that support both immediate needs and long-term scalability.
Relativity emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and impact at every level. You will solve problems that haven't been solved before, collaborate across teams, and see your work directly influence a rocket program in active development. The company is at a unique inflection point—early enough to shape product, process, and culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and gaining momentum.
