Parachute Home, a premium home essentials brand, is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to oversee textile and fabric sourcing across multiple product categories. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, you will manage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle—from vendor identification and evaluation through production and compliance—ensuring high-quality, cost-effective supply chain operations aligned with the company's sustainability and design standards.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and onboarding global suppliers and manufacturing partners; building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to optimize capacity, lead times, and flexibility; negotiating pricing and contracts to balance cost efficiency with product integrity; partnering with design and product development teams on seasonal development cycles; managing product costing and margin analysis; overseeing packaging requirements (hangtags, labels, boxes, wrapping); tracking vendor certifications and compliance; and consolidating cross-functional feedback to establish quarterly vendor performance metrics.
You will work closely with designers, merchants, planners, production teams, and logistics partners to bring functional, beautifully-made products to market while strengthening vendor partnerships and operational excellence. The role requires deep knowledge of global sourcing, textile manufacturing processes, and cost negotiation strategies. You'll manage sustainability certifications, regulatory testing, and vendor operations guides to ensure compliance with Parachute's quality and ethical standards.
The position is based in Culver City, CA, with a hybrid schedule (Monday–Thursday in-office, Fridays remote). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sourcing or vendor management experience in home, apparel, or consumer goods; a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data validation); and proven success managing international vendor relationships. You are detail-oriented, strategic, accountable, and energized by meaningful work and high standards.
