Rippling is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its payroll operations team in Germany. In this role, you will independently manage and run payroll for a defined client portfolio while serving as the primary point of contact for your clients. You will partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality managed payroll services and contribute to the development of compliant, scalable global payroll processes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Independent Payroll Processing: Run accurate and on-time payroll for your client portfolio in Germany, managing all upstream and downstream activities.
• Client Support: Serve as the central point of contact for clients through ticketing systems and direct calls, providing responsive support.
• Advisory Services: Competently advise clients on German labor law, social security, and tax regulations, identifying pragmatic, legally compliant solutions.
• Compliance Management: Conduct regular compliance reviews, identify risks early, and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
• System Contribution: Actively contribute to payroll system development by sharing operational feedback, testing new features, and identifying automation opportunities.
