Remote is a global employment platform that helps businesses of all sizes recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. As a Global Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will join the Global Payroll Implementation team and be responsible for technically implementing new customers onto Remote's Global Payroll solution platform.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll customers, guiding them through a seamless transition of their payroll requirements to Remote's products and services. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer payroll needs, directing end-to-end implementation from initial setup through go-live, obtaining and validating customer and employee payroll data, configuring Remote's Global Payroll system on a per-customer basis, coordinating parallel payroll runs and tax reconciliations, verifying compliance with statutory regulations, and handing over accurate payroll to the Remote Payroll Operations team.
You will work with multiple customers and stakeholders simultaneously, requiring strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. The role demands technical aptitude with data analysis capabilities, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and a deep understanding of global payroll processes, statutory tax regulations, and payroll operations. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about automation and process improvement. Experience with DACH payroll software and tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Salesforce is a plus. You will report to the Manager of Global Payroll Implementations and work asynchronously in a distributed, international environment.
