The Global Operations Associate role is a front-line position within Flexport's North American Operations team, based in Dallas. You will own the end-to-end execution of global shipments within a regional network, including ocean less-than-container load (LCL) and full container load (FCL), ocean imports, and air imports/exports. This is a hands-on operational role focused on delivering exceptional customer experience through quality execution and on-time performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all shipments meet Flexport quality standards and internal KPIs/SLAs
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customer issues, solving problems quickly and escalating as needed
- Coordinating day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners including steamship lines, air carriers, intermodal vendors, customs brokers, warehousing providers, and trucking companies
- Managing the complete movement of freight shipments (imports and exports) within the regional network, including intermodal movements
- Quoting and invoicing client shipments with P&L responsibility
- Participating in quarterly business reviews (QBR) and monthly business reviews (MBR), including presentation prep and client operational calls
- Following standard operating procedures and maintaining compliance in a heavily regulated industry
- Supporting partner autonomy initiatives as applicable

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting (ocean freight knowledge is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle large volumes of tasks
