Salary: USD 151,000 - 175,000 / annual
Future is a global leader in specialist media, operating trusted brands that deliver expert content across multiple platforms. This role leads Future Studios' newest pillar, overseeing everything that happens after content is created and ready for publishing.
You will report to the SVP of Future Creative and own global publishing operations across YouTube, social video, and audio/vodcast for the brand portfolio. You lead the Vertical Channel Manager team (Fashion Beauty & Homes; Tech; Games & Entertainment) and set portfolio-wide channel growth targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage global publishing operations, publishing calendar, CMS and distribution operations across YouTube, social video, and audio/vodcast
- Lead the Vertical Channel Manager team and establish portfolio-wide channel growth targets
- Own audience development and analytics: post-publish performance, retention, CTR, and engagement reporting; chair weekly publishing and performance reviews
- Define and enforce packaging, thumbnail, title, metadata, and scheduling standards; run continuous testing and optimization programs including 72-hour optimization passes
- Manage platform monetization health: YouTube revenue and RPM signals, Shorts monetization, podcast advertising readiness, claims and policy management
- Manage platform partner relationships (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Spotify) including feature access, disputes, and monetization policy
- Feed performance insights back into greenlights, renewal decisions, and talent investments through monthly audience development reports
- Establish rights, claims, and content ID practices protecting and monetizing Future's catalogue
- Lead AI testing and implementation as a proving ground for the studio, including analytics and metadata automation in real workflows
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the New York office.
Requirements:
- 12+ years in digital video, publishing operations, or audience development
- 5+ years leading YouTube or multi-platform channel operations at scale
- Proven growth outcomes on YouTube including subscriber, watch time, and RPM improvement across multiple channels
- Deep command of platform monetization mechanics, analytics tooling, and testing methodology
- Experience leading channel manager and audience development teams across markets
- Strong data fluency; comfortable owning revenue and performance reporting to executive audiences
- Experience with rights management and content ID at portfolio scale (preferred)
