Qumulo is seeking an experienced Global Client Director to lead and grow the Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports (MEGS) vertical sales business. You will own the full P&L for this vertical, including forecast, coverage model, and headcount planning. In this player-coach role, you will manage a small team of senior account executives while staying actively involved in complex enterprise deals. You'll build and grow executive relationships at studios, broadcasters, sports leagues, and teams, driving new-logo pursuits and managing long sales cycles. Your responsibilities include hiring and retaining top talent, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing on customer-aligned roadmap initiatives, and serving as the face of Qumulo at industry events like NAB, SVG, and SMPTE. You'll drive complex hardware/software, cloud, and hybrid cloud sales involving OEMs, resellers, and cloud partners. Qumulo's platform unifies file and object storage across data centers, edge, and public clouds, serving over 1,100 customers managing exabytes of data. The company is a 7-year Magic Quadrant Leader for File & Object Storage Platforms and won Best of Show at NAB 2026. The role requires significant travel across North America and globally for customer meetings and industry events. QUALIFICATIONS: - 10+ years selling complex technology (storage, cloud, infrastructure, data management, data protection, video, streaming, broadcast, or media asset management) into sports, media, broadcast, entertainment, or production organizations - Direct experience managing high-performance sales teams with a hands-on player/coach model and a track record of beating quotas - Proven ability to land major new logos through generated demand, not just partner-led or inbound pipelines - Fluency in broadcast and production environments (ingest to playback), ideally with focus on media workflows - Existing relationships with global media, entertainment, sports leagues, teams, or broadcast organizations - Ability to travel across North America and globally - Bonus: active involvement in NAB, SVG, or SMPTE; experience selling file or unstructured data storage solutions
