DocPlanner Group is the world's largest healthcare platform, connecting 24 million patients with 280k doctors across 13 countries through brands like ZnanyLekarz, Doctoralia, MioDottore, DoktorTakvimi, and jameda. The company operates marketplaces, SaaS, and AI tools that help doctors, clinics, and hospitals work more efficiently. You will lead a team of 2–3 analysts, managing workload, priorities, and agile workflows (sprints, backlogs, clear intake processes). You'll coach analysts to grow technically and professionally, holding them accountable for quality and impact. You'll coordinate with global and local stakeholders to ensure the team's work drives real business outcomes. The role emphasizes an AI-first approach: you'll upskill the team to use AI for querying, coding, and analysis, and establish scalable foundations (shared libraries, reusable code, GitHub-based repositories) so these practices become systematic, not dependent on individual habits. You'll partner directly with the VP of Individual Doctors and VP of Clinics to understand their businesses, identify gaps, and surface opportunities. You'll lead deep-dive analyses that explain not just what happened, but why and what to do about it. You'll propose, run, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and beyond) that inform business decisions. You'll build and maintain data models and automations that scale across all 13 markets, create dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau for non-technical stakeholders, and keep outputs consistent with BI standards. You'll act as a translation layer between business needs and DocPlanner's data organization (BI, Data Platform, Product Analytics), bringing the right requirements to each team and pushing back respectfully when scope or timelines don't align with business priority. You'll also build and maintain an interpretation layer between data systems and end users, turning metrics and models into AI-generated insights people can act on. You'll surface market performance insights and deliver them directly to senior stakeholders in decision-ready formats. The team is remote-first with most colleagues based in Spain. You must already have the legal right to work in your country of residence or the role's location; visa sponsorship is not available. **Requirements:** - Degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar) - 5+ years of relevant analytics experience, including 1–2 years leading analysts - Very good SQL skills (BigQuery preferred); Python is a plus - Proven experience designing and maintaining automations and scalable data models - Experience setting up or scaling AI-first ways of working for a data/analytics team (e.g., AI-assisted querying and coding, shared prompt or code libraries, reusable architecture in GitHub or similar) - Skilled at digesting complex data into business language; able to summarize findings and frame them as clear narratives for senior non-technical audiences - Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Tableau, building dashboards for non-technical audiences - Working knowledge of basic statistical modeling and concepts such as regression analysis and A/B testing - Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with non-technical stakeholders across departments - Professional fluency in English (Spanish is a plus) - Based in Madrid or Barcelona is ideal **Desirable traits:** - Strategic, structured thinker who breaks down complex problems into logical components - Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driven by results - Understands the capabilities and limitations of AI/LLMs; has experience building things and translating technical concepts into business impact - Owner with entrepreneurial mindset - Track record of scoping complex problems, running high-quality quantitative analysis, and developing insights that drive decisions - Able to prioritize effectively and lead multiple project workstreams concurrently - Builds trust across stakeholders; communicates complex concepts simply and clearly - Experience in tech companies, start-ups, or consultancy (extra advantage) - Curiosity about healthcare and SaaS (no prior experience required)
