Flexport.org, the humanitarian arm of Flexport, is seeking a Global Aid Account Manager to own complex, high-impact partner relationships with nonprofits, NGOs, and mission-driven organizations. You will manage a portfolio of multi-modal accounts spanning ocean, air, trucking, and customs across multiple trade lanes, serving organizations that move impactful cargo into challenging environments.
In this role, you will operate with full autonomy to drive program growth and retention while mentoring junior teammates. Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end success for complex partner accounts; leading RFP bids and contract renewals; serving as a strategic supply chain partner to nonprofits and NGOs; conducting high-impact business reviews that provide market context and tailored recommendations; driving expansion across Flexport's full product suite; collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Pricing, Legal, and Trade Lane Management teams; mentoring account team members; and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve internal and partner-facing processes.
You will shape Flexport.org's most meaningful partner relationships and have a visible role in setting the standard for how the account team operates. The position offers ownership of accounts with the biggest impact, opportunities to contribute to team playbooks and process improvements, and a front-row seat to Flexport.org's mission of getting aid to people who need it on time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in account management, business development, or similar partner-facing role
- Background in logistics, supply chain, humanitarian aid, or international development strongly preferred
- Track record of independently managing and growing a complex, multi-product book of business
- Deep understanding of global trade and supply chain operations across multiple modes (ocean, air, trucking, customs)
- Comfort operating without a playbook in ambiguous situations and ability to create playbooks for others
- Strong commercial instincts to identify growth opportunities and close them
- Genuine curiosity about humanitarian and development space; desire to become expert in aid logistics
- Natural tendency to develop others; ability to help peers and junior teammates improve
- Compliance-first mindset and understanding of heavily regulated industry requirements
