Salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000 / annual
Blank Street is a high-growth food and beverage brand on a mission to become the defining brand of its generation. As General Manager for the Beverly Hills location, you will launch and lead one of the company's first stores in Los Angeles, building a high-performing team, setting operational standards, and creating an exceptional customer experience.
You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations across multiple dimensions:
**People Management:** Create a motivating culture by training, coaching, and mentoring your team. You'll handle scheduling in compliance with labor laws, manage timecards and PTO, recruit talent in collaboration with the People Team, coordinate new-hire training, oversee shift lead training quality, address performance issues promptly, and maintain strong team engagement scores.
**Product & Quality:** Serve as a brand ambassador with deep knowledge of Blank Street's differentiated products. Maintain food and beverage quality standards, execute recipes consistently, manage all ordering and vendor relations, oversee inventory management and compliance, ensure adequate stock to meet demand, and lead by example behind the bar with excellent customer service and technically excellent product execution.
**Operations & Brand Excellence:** Achieve company standard audit scores, ensure safety and cleanliness in line with policies, maintain "A" DOH grades, and solve facilities and maintenance issues efficiently.
**Neighborhood Performance:** Develop local business relationships to build brand loyalty, take ownership of financial performance and growth, uphold NPS scores, celebrate positive feedback and investigate negative comments, continuously develop your leadership skills, stay current on company tools and processes, identify communication gaps, collaborate with other General Managers, and attend all required trainings.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years of experience managing single-unit operations in high-growth hospitality and/or retail brands
- Experience managing large hospitality teams
- Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering
- Passion for excellent customer service and hospitality
- Ability to perform under pressure and time constraints
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to create workflows, systems, and processes for dispersed teams
- Strong delegation and follow-up skills
- Emotional intelligence and conflict resolution capabilities
