Satispay is a fintech platform empowering millions of users across Europe with accessible financial services—starting with payments, then expanding into benefits, investing, and cards. The company is on a hyper-growth trajectory and seeking a Chief Operating Officer to scale and optimize operational foundations across all functions.
In this role, you will:
- Direct daily operational activities to align with long-term company objectives, ensuring seamless execution across teams.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement scalable processes that enhance overall business efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional alignment with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance to guarantee end-to-end execution.
- Define, track, and drive key operational KPIs, establishing robust reporting frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
- Build resilient operational systems and frameworks capable of supporting rapid user acquisition and geographical expansion across Europe.
- Lead and mentor high-performing teams, collaborate with peers through structured communication and transparency, and demonstrate commitment to integrity and ownership.
You will take on one of the hardest challenges at this scale: managing operational complexity across multi-country operations, maintaining flawless execution, and building systems that adapt to rapid expansion. This is not a caretaker role—you'll be expected to build or transform functions, make hard calls under pressure, and own outcomes.
The role is based in Luxembourg with expected travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan. The company operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, plus one day of your choice), with flexibility to request additional remote time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven executive experience (COO, VP Ops, or similar senior leadership role) in a fast-growing scale-up, tech, or fintech environment.
- Demonstrated success in designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes at scale.
- Strong ability to turn complex business challenges into clear, actionable operational frameworks using data-driven insights.
- Track record of building, scaling, and empowering high-performing operational teams with an empathetic yet results-oriented approach.
- Strong ownership mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
- Travel flexibility: expected travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.
