Satispay is a fintech platform on a mission to empower people through finance and build the most loved financial platform in the world. The company has grown to 6.5M+ users across Europe and continues expanding its product suite from payments to benefits, investing, and cards.
As Chief Operating Officer, you will scale and optimize Satispay's operational foundations to support hyper-growth across Europe. Your responsibilities include:
- Strategic Operations: Direct daily operational activities aligned with long-term company objectives, ensuring seamless execution across all teams.
- Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement scalable processes that enhance business efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development, and Compliance to guarantee end-to-end execution.
- Performance & Metrics: Define, track, and drive key operational KPIs with robust reporting frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
- Scalability & Infrastructure: Build resilient operational systems capable of supporting rapid user acquisition and geographical expansion.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor high-performing teams with structured communication, transparency, integrity, and ownership.
You will operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where you make significant decisions without waiting for perfect information. The role requires travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan. REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven executive experience as COO, VP Operations, or similar senior leadership role in a fast-growing scale-up, tech, or fintech environment
- Demonstrated success designing, scaling, and managing complex operational processes at scale
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with ability to turn complex business challenges into clear, actionable operational frameworks using data-driven insights
- Track record of building, scaling, and empowering high-performing operational teams with an empathetic yet results-oriented approach
- Strong ownership mindset with hands-on approach to problem-solving in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
- Travel flexibility: up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan
- Willingness to relocate to Luxembourg
