FlixBus is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join their finance team in Sofia. This is a hybrid role in a fast-growing international company focused on making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.
In this position, you will be responsible for core accounting functions including preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and following up on resolution of old or unusual open items. You will create monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, book monthly journal entries, and establish IFRS adjustments. Additional responsibilities include identifying opportunities for process improvements, preparing clear and concise documentation, and supporting the preparation of requested documentation and reports for external and internal audits. You will perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- 1–4 years' experience in General Ledger Accounting
- Experience with month-end close process, reconciliations, and recording into an ERP system
- Fluency in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing international environment
- ERP system experience required; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
