Samba TV is a media intelligence company leveraging consented, large-scale viewership and consumer data to help major brands make smarter audience decisions. We are building a new AI-powered product with a real-time, conversational interface that researches, reasons, and produces real deliverables—interactive charts, data views, structured outputs, and downloadable documents.
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our engineering team in San Francisco. This is a genuinely full-stack role spanning the entire request path: an AI/agent backend, the Node/TypeScript service layer, and the React streaming UI. You will work across all layers and be one of the people the team leans on for architectural direction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement features across the full technology stack (backend, service layer, frontend)
- Contribute to architectural decisions and guide the team on technical direction
- Lead frontend work when needed, though frontend is one facet of the role, not its center
- Build and maintain a modern, AI-native, type-safe codebase operating at global scale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered features
You should have strong experience with Node/TypeScript, React, and backend systems. Experience with AI/ML systems, real-time data processing, or streaming architectures is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI products at scale with a talented engineering team.
