Labrynth is an AI-powered platform that helps organizations navigate regulatory complexity in heavily regulated industries like energy, compliance, and government. The company operates as a forward-deployed engineering organization with small, high-velocity teams embedded directly with clients. As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be the execution backbone keeping delivered work running smoothly. You'll split your time between building features that support delivery teams, maintaining production platforms, and responding to incidents. Your responsibilities include: - Supporting project delivery by building and shipping features, integrations, and fixes end-to-end from data model to interface - Maintaining production platforms through dependency upgrades, performance tuning, security patching, refactoring, and technical debt reduction - Handling incidents during your rotation: triaging, communicating status, restoring service, and driving permanent solutions - Improving observability through better logging, metrics, traces, and alerting - Automating repetitive manual work into scripts, jobs, or tooling - Documenting architecture, runbooks, and handover documentation with audit compliance in mind - Supporting the team through code review and engineering standards You should have 2-5 years building and running web applications in production, with comfort across both server-side and client-side work. Professional experience with Python and TypeScript (or deep strength in one with genuine exposure to the other) is required. You'll need solid relational database skills, practical cloud platform experience, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code. Strong debugging ability in live systems, a testing habit matched to risk, and clear written communication—especially under pressure—are essential. You should be comfortable working directly with clients as part of a forward-deployed team. Nice-to-have experience includes formal on-call rotations, background job systems, inheriting and stabilizing unfamiliar systems, security/compliance awareness in regulated environments, LLM-backed features, and consulting or agency backgrounds. The company offers high-impact work at the intersection of AI and critical infrastructure, direct customer exposure, a small team with outsized influence, a modern AI-native development environment, remote-first work, and competitive compensation.
