As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain 0-to-1 applications for AI-powered solutions with a focus on automation, high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. You will participate in all aspects of agile software development from design through deployment, building and integrating RESTful APIs to support dynamic web and cloud applications. Your responsibilities include developing scalable backend services and databases, architecting end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale, and ensuring responsive design and seamless user experience.
You will maintain best practices through test-driven development (TDD) with synchronized unit and integration tests, debug and troubleshoot reported issues, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to other developers.
Sonar operates across global hubs including Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. The Singapore office operates on an in-office culture with three anchor days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) to foster collaboration. Candidates must be genuinely based in Singapore, though relocation support is available for the right person.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
- Experience working with agentic technologies (e.g., Codex, Claude, Copilot)
- Experience building web applications and designing/integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience developing with Java Spring framework or similar
- Experience with Agile practices and principles (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Excellent debugging, optimization, communication, and teamwork skills
