Baba is an applied AI lab modernizing risk and care delivery for Medicare beneficiaries. The company has grown rapidly—completing tens of thousands of appointments in the last 8 months and partnering with health plans covering 4+ million Medicare members. They operate across population health research, applied AI, clinical care delivery, and fintech infrastructure. As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll own end-to-end development of core platform capabilities and system integrations. Your scope spans voice AI infrastructure, internal clinician tools, web applications, APIs, and backend services that power the patient advocacy platform. You'll design and implement automated QA and monitoring systems to audit patient outcomes and advocate performance at scale. You'll develop internal dashboards and tools that streamline clinical workflows, replacing manual processes with reliable software. You'll architect data models and pipelines supporting a growing marketplace of advocates, providers, and patients, and collaborate directly with founders and the clinical team to translate operational bottlenecks into shipped product. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications end-to-end (database to UI). You're a systems thinker who can map complex multi-user workflows into clean data models and logical service boundaries. You're pragmatic and fast—prioritizing shipping over perfection while maintaining correctness. You take high ownership of problems, not just tickets, and are willing to handle diverse tasks from production debugging to patient support to architecture whiteboarding. You're proficient in at least one backend language (Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, or similar) and understand distributed systems concepts. You care deeply about reliability, safety, and performance in production. Interest in AI/ML is expected; direct experience is a bonus. Bonus traits include founder background or early-stage startup experience building products from scratch. Baba is Series A with $40M+ in funding. The team is half engineers, a third former founders, and includes talent from Ramp, Stripe, Liquid AI, Palantir, MIT, and CMU. Clinical operations are led by the former Executive Director of Care Transitions from Mount Sinai Health System. The company prioritizes talent density as a competitive advantage.
