Stay22 is a Montreal-based fintech platform that helps creators and digital platforms monetize their existing traffic. The company powers over 6,500 creators and platforms with more than $1 billion in annual transactions, expanding beyond travel into retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transportation.
The Hub is Stay22's core self-serve platform where partners register, complete onboarding, configure monetization tools, access analytics, manage accounts, and handle payments. As a Fullstack Developer on the Hub Squad, you will own end-to-end features for partners, working across a modern frontend stack (React, Next.js, and Vue) and Node.js/TypeScript backend services. You won't simply close tickets—you'll shape and rebuild signup, onboarding, and reporting flows used by thousands of creators, directly influencing partner activation and monetization.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining Hub features (onboarding, dashboards, account settings, payment workflows); developing intuitive, accessible, performant self-serve tools with React or Vue; creating scalable APIs and backend services with Node.js and TypeScript; working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for reliable partner experiences; owning features beyond launch through monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement; collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Data teams; and contributing to strong engineering practices via code review and testing.
Required experience: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience; demonstrated fullstack experience designing and deploying production web applications; strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue); solid MongoDB proficiency and strong PostgreSQL experience; good understanding of APIs, web performance, debugging, and full-stack optimization; product-oriented mindset with good judgment on usability and tradeoffs; excellent communication and collaboration skills. Technical leadership or mentoring experience is a plus. Fluent English required for daily communication with international colleagues and partners.
