Neo4j is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their team in London, working on the Aura Graph Analytics platform. This mid-to-senior role sits at the intersection of product UX, graph analytics, and cloud data platforms.
You will own the user-facing surface of Neo4j's graph analytics products, helping new users get to value quickly by reducing friction in their first workflows. You'll design and build exceptional features that lower the bar for users to perform graph analytics, while also making internal tooling effective enough for the team to support and operate the service confidently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and evolving the Aura Graph Analytics user experience inside the Neo4j Aura console
- Developing and maintaining the in-app GUI for the Neo4j Graph Analytics App for Snowflake, guiding users through multi-step workflows: selecting data, projecting as graphs, configuring and running algorithms, and writing back results
- Designing graph-projection and algorithm-configuration UX for non-graph experts, including clear workflow steps, sensible defaults, validation, and interactive previews
- Improving internal support tooling to inspect deployment state and diagnose customer issues
- Leveraging the shared design system (neo4j.design) to ensure product cohesion
- Partnering closely with product, design, backend, and SRE teams to ship end-to-end experiences
Required experience:
- Production-quality software development
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with significant frontend experience in production codebases
- Solid React and modern frontend tooling experience (e.g., Tailwind)
- Comfort collaborating with designers in Figma and translating designs into accessible, responsive UI
- User-centric mindset with genuine interest in product UX
- API service creation in Golang, Java, or Python
Bonus qualifications include experience with Spotify's Backstage framework, graph data/algorithms, Python-based UI tooling (Streamlit, AnyWidget), and Snowflake/Snowpark integration.
