Neo4j is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their Malmö office and help design and build exceptional features for their graph analytics platform. In this mid-to-senior role, you will own the user-facing surface of Neo4j Aura Graph Analytics, working at the intersection of product UX, graph analytics, and cloud data platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and evolving the Aura Graph Analytics user experience within the Neo4j Aura console
- Developing and maintaining the in-app GUI for the Neo4j Graph Analytics App for Snowflake, guiding users through multi-step workflows including data selection, graph projection, algorithm configuration, and write-back operations
- Designing intuitive graph-projection and algorithm-configuration UX for non-graph experts, with clear workflow steps, sensible defaults, validation, and interactive graph previews
- Improving internal support tooling for inspecting Aura Graph Analytics deployment states and diagnosing customer issues
- Leveraging the shared design system (neo4j.design) to ensure product consistency
- Partnering closely with product, design, backend, and SRE teams to ship cohesive end-to-end experiences
You should bring strong production software engineering experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and significant frontend expertise in production codebases. Proficiency with React, modern frontend tooling (Tailwind), and comfortable collaboration with designers in Figma is essential. You'll need backend API service creation experience in Golang, Java, or Python, plus a user-centric mindset focused on product UX rather than just component shipping.
Bonus qualifications include experience with Spotify's Backstage framework, graph data/algorithms, Python-based UI tooling (Streamlit, AnyWidget), and Snowflake/Snowpark integration.
