Anduril Industries is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join Anduril Labs in Washington, DC. Anduril Labs is a multidisciplinary innovation team driving next-generation technology development across the company's defense and aerospace product lines.
In this role, you will develop proof-of-concept prototypes and next-generation systems using cutting-edge technologies including AI/ML, autonomous systems, advanced data analytics, quantum computing, and next-gen human-machine interfaces. You will own the complete software development lifecycle—from concept through development, testing, deployment, and documentation—for Anduril Labs prototypes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading prototype development for autonomous systems, multi-agent systems, GenAI applications, advanced analytics, visualization, and cybersecurity solutions
- Architecting, developing, and deploying distributed applications with both front-end and back-end components
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, product development teams, and customer partners
- Supporting R&D efforts funded by Anduril and customers
- Participating in field experiments and technology demonstrations
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional programming experience in Python, C++, Java, Rust, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven software architecture and design skills
- Hands-on AI/ML development experience using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, and commercial tools (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
- Full-stack web development (React, Angular, Vue)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Graph DB, Vector DB)
- API development (REST, GraphQL)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Linux and Windows development experience
- Data modeling, wrangling, and analytics
- Networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with GenAI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.)
Embedded software development experience is a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, thrives in dynamic environments, and can quickly grasp complex systems.
