Fable Security is an AI-driven human risk platform that helps enterprises reduce cybersecurity breaches by shaping employee behavior and preventing human error—the source of 70% of security incidents. Founded by early Abnormal Security team members and backed by Redpoint Ventures and Greylock Partners, Fable is experiencing explosive growth in a multi-billion-dollar market. As a Full-Stack Product Engineer, you will design and build the backend systems and data models powering Fable's agentic platform. You'll own features end-to-end, from concept through production, including frontend work when needed. You'll collaborate closely with design and product teams to turn ideas into customer-ready experiences, engage with early users to gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on real-world needs. You'll contribute to a strong engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews, shared ownership, and mentorship of peers. The role emphasizes shipping production-grade code quickly while maintaining quality and thoughtfulness about system design and data integrity. You bring 3–5 years of experience building and shipping fullstack or backend-heavy applications. You have strong fluency with Django (or similar frameworks) and backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, persistence, and hands-on Postgres experience with schema design and query optimization. You're comfortable building frontend interfaces with React or Next.js, familiar with TypeScript and GraphQL, and have proven ability to take features from concept to production independently. You're customer-obsessed, thrive in fast-paced high-ownership environments, and continuously raise the bar for yourself, your peers, and the product. You ask good product questions and care deeply that your work solves real problems for real users. The team works from the San Francisco office three days a week, emphasizing collaboration, deep focus, mutual trust, and high execution. Every team member plays a key role in shaping the company's success.
